Our process for bathrooms in the Suburb
- Visit. We look at each bathroom and at the outside walls its pipes and vents would use.
- Survey. Room sizes, the existing stack and hot-water system, and any windows or joinery to keep are recorded.
- Room design. Layouts, falls, waterproofing and extract are drawn; where a floor is altered, our own structural engineers design the change.
- Trust drawings. Any new outside pipe, flue or vent is drawn with its position and material for the Trust.
- Price. Each room is priced at a fixed sum once its design is agreed.
- Handover. Every room is tested before handover. Completed work carries a 12-month defects-rectification period under the JCT contract terms.
