Harriet Webb

Senior Designer & Conservation Specialist — Hampstead Renovations

About Harriet

Harriet Webb joined Hampstead Renovations in 2017 as lead designer and conservation specialist, bringing with her an MA in Conservation of the Historic Environment from the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) and previous experience at the Victorian Society and a specialist heritage consultancy in Bloomsbury.

Her role at the firm spans interior design, heritage specification, and conservation advice. She produces the paint schedules, material specifications, and joinery designs for all of the firm's listed building and conservation area projects — ensuring that new work respects and enhances the historic fabric of each property.

Harriet has particular expertise in the period detail of North London Victorian and Edwardian houses: cornices, ceiling roses, dado rails, picture rails, fireplace surrounds, sash window refurbishment, and original timber floor restoration. She advises clients on salvage sourcing, authentic heritage paint colours (including brand approvals with Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Papers & Paints), and the specification of lime mortars and traditional render systems.

She also manages the firm's relationships with Camden Conservation, Historic England, and the Victorian Society, and advises on pre-application consultations for sensitive listed building projects.
