The Challenge
The Robinson family needed an extra bedroom for their growing family but loved their Highgate home and location. The property was in a conservation area, making any visible external changes challenging.
Our Approach
We designed a rear dormer loft conversion that would fall within permitted development rights for the conservation area. The design maximised space while minimising visual impact from the street.
Our Solution
A large rear dormer conversion created a spacious master bedroom with en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe. Carefully positioned Velux windows in the front roof slope provide light without affecting the streetscape. A beautiful new oak staircase connects seamlessly with the existing landing.

The Outcome
